Job summary

eBay is seeking a Sr. People Technology Analyst to shape and scale recruiting technology, with Workday Recruiting at the core. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, IT, and operations to define requirements, prioritize solutions, and deliver end‑to‑end experiences for candidates and hiring teams.

The role blends configuration, automation, reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities across the TA ecosystem, including scheduling, CRM, and analytics, in a hybrid Salt Lake City setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years HRIS experience with HR SaaS systems.
• 3+ years Workday configuration experience, incl. Recruiting.
• Strong knowledge of AI trends in HR tech.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product-minded technology partner for eBay's recruiting ecosystem, with Workday Recruiting as the core platform.
• Contribute to roadmap development for recruiting tech enhancements balancing priorities, user needs, ops requirements, and feasibility.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, TA Operations, IT, and others to understand needs, define requirements, and prioritize solutions.
• Support and enhance recruiting tech ecosystem including Paradox (interview scheduling), Gem, Phenom People (CRM) and AI tools (HiredScore, Textio, BrightHire, CodeSignal).
• Collaborate to translate requirements into scalable solution builds and AI use cases with user stories and flows.
• Lead configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization of Workday Recruiting for projects.
• Identify automation opportunities using AI/workflow platforms (e.g., Sana Agent Builder).
• Support development of custom apps via Workday Extend when needed.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields for data-driven decisions.
• Provide production support and issue resolution, identifying root causes and scalable improvements.
• Support transitions, communications, training, and adoption for new processes.
• Partner with IT and vendors to support integrations, data flows, and governance.
• Participate in audits, SOX, data privacy reviews, and compliance docs.
• Maintain documentation including requirements, process maps, test scripts, release notes, and project plans.
• Stay ahead of Workday recruiting trends and AI capabilities and assess applicability to eBay.
