Job summary

Orbital is seeking a Senior People Partner to help build the US People function from the ground up, partnering with GTM leadership and owning scalable people solutions that actually scale.

You’ll drive manager capability, performance enablement, and building out the US-specific foundations of our People stack, including compliance, leave administration, and multi-state employment. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a People Partner supporting GTM, Sales or Commercial teams.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law (FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA, multi-state compliance, at-will).
• Diagnose before you design, and measure what you ship as a product-minded professional.
• Thrives in ambiguity and builds from scratch, not in established bureaucracy.
• Experience in high-growth tech or legaltech; exposure to OTE and variable comp.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM managers on performance, team health, and people challenges; build trusted relationships for signal on fixes.
• Turn insights into scalable people solutions: frameworks, enablement tools, programs, and processes.
