Job summary

Gozney seeks a People Business Partner to align HR strategy with growth, partnering with US and Utah teams to drive performance and culture. You will blend strategy with hands-on employee support, from onboarding through performance coaching and HRIS optimization.

You will coach leaders, support employees through moments of change, and help build a scalable people function that reflects our values and cares for the workforce.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a People Business Partner, HR Generalist or People Operations role in a fast-growth global business.
• Hands-on experience administering or implementing an HRIS with strong data reporting.
• Strong partnership, trust-building and follow-through with managers and employees.
• Curiosity about business priorities and people needs behind goals.
• Experience supporting performance, employee relations and day-to-day issues.
• Experience supporting recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding.
• Detail-oriented with confidential data handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and balancing projects with hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with leaders and be first point of contact for people-related matters.
• Translate function strategies into clear people priorities.
• Advocate for employees while bringing constructive challenge and a company-wide perspective.
• Provide day-to-day People partner support across lifecycle.
• Assist with onboarding, development, role changes and offboarding.
• Navigate policies, benefits, leave and workplace concerns with empathy.
• Address issues through resolution and escalate high-risk matters.
• Partner on organization design, workforce planning and headcount.
• Identify capability gaps, succession needs and retention risks.
• Support talent reviews, promotions and career paths.
• Shape hiring needs and ensure strong onboarding.
• Coach managers on performance and feedback.
• Address underperformance and build healthier teams.
• Identify learning needs and tailor interventions.
• Own HRIS and support surveys, performance reviews and reporting.
• Use data, automation and AI to improve experience.
• Build scalable processes.
• Protect culture and embody values in decisions.
• Work with wider People Team and support business needs.
