Job summary

Smartsheet is hiring a Senior Manager, People Business Partner to drive talent strategy for the Go-To-Market (GTM) function, leading workforce planning, performance management, development, and retention for sales teams, with a focus on revenue outcomes.

Based in Bellevue, WA, this hybrid role partners with GTM leadership and People COEs to design scalable talent programs that align with business priorities and rep productivity. You will report to the Sr. Director of People Business Partnerships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Significant experience supporting sales functions with sales dynamics, compensation, and retention challenges.
• Proven track record in SaaS/software environments supporting scaling sales orgs.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning and organizational design aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
• Develop and implement sales-aligned talent management, retention, and development programs.
• Coach GTM management to ensure consistent execution of People programs and practices across GTM.
• Partner on organizational design and workforce optimization to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Collaborate with COEs to design sales-aligned talent systems and programs.
• Advise GTM and sales leadership on organizational effectiveness and compensation alignment.
• Monitor sales health metrics and translate insights into action.
• Support People & Culture initiatives and special projects as needed.
