Smartsheet is hiring a Senior Manager, People Business Partner to design and execute talent strategy for the Global Go-To-Market function. This leadership role partners with People & Culture COEs to drive workforce planning, performance management, development, and retention for sales teams. Reports to the Sr.

Director and requires three days per week in our Bellevue, WA office. You will translate sales business strategy into integrated talent initiatives and lead cross-functional execution to

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience with 3+ years leading teams.
• Significant experience supporting sales functions with understanding of sales org dynamics and compensation.
• Proven track record in SaaS or software environments supporting scaling sales organizations.
• Experience designing and implementing talent frameworks (performance management, org design, compensation alignment, retention).
• Strong data analysis skills translating metrics into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM leadership to support workforce planning and org design aligned to business objectives.
• Develop and implement sales-aligned talent management frameworks for performance, retention, and development.
• Coach GTM management to ensure consistent execution of People programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional COEs to design sales-aligned talent systems and programs.
• Serve as strategic advisor to GTM and sales leadership on organizational effectiveness and compensation alignment.
• Drive data-informed decisions by monitoring sales health metrics and translating insights into action.
• Support People & Culture initiatives and special projects as needed.
