Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a high-ownership People Business Partner to support our Engineering, Data Science, and Security/IT organizations. This role reports to the Head of People and serves as a trusted partner to leaders across technically complex teams.

You will blend high-trust business partnership with hands-on execution, drive core People programs, manage organizational changes, and use data to surface trends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HRBP or People Partner experience with technical orgs (Engineering, Data Science, Security).
• Strong operator mindset with a track record of moving initiatives forward.
• Bias toward action and ability to execute at pace with follow‑through.
• Ability to influence senior technical leaders and translate business needs into programs.
• Deep experience with performance management, calibrations, promotions, and design.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with People data.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with Engineering, Data Science, and Security/IT leaders and navigate performance and relations with sound judgment.
• Synthesize People data into clear, actionable insights for leaders before they have to ask.
• Support and operationalize core talent programs including performance cycles and manager enablement.
• Reinforce high performance standards and clarity around expectations, feedback, and growth.
• Serve as the liaison between R&D and the broader People team and translate programs for technical orgs.
• Identify risks and opportunities using People insights and organizational data.
• Build scalable People frameworks and processes for consistency across the business.
• Own end-to-end execution during org changes, including transition planning and communications.
