Job summary

Hometree is seeking a senior People Partner for Installs. You will support 100 engineers across Cornwall, Kent, and London, acting as the trusted advisor to operations and commercial leaders. The role blends local, brand-specific needs with Group-wide policy, offering autonomy and a lean team environment.

You’ll own population plans, ER for dispersed teams, and collaboration with Reward, Talent and Ops partners, while driving business outcomes in a fast-growing home services group.

Qualifications

• Senior partnering experience at a senior level.
• Experience supporting field-based engineers/installers/tech roles.
• Autonomous and self-directed with limited escalation.
• Comfort working across both small, local brands and larger groups.
• Entrepreneurial mindset from founder-led environments.
• Strong employee relations across dispersed workforces.
• Ability to move between strategic partnering and hands-on HR.
• Frame people decisions in cost, risk and capacity terms.
• Use people data to support business cases.
• Location-based travel readiness in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for installer management.
• Partner the Installs leadership with HR input and risk visibility.
• Build local People plans for each population.
• Manage employee relations end-to-end for dispersed teams.
• Bridge Group standards with installer realities in policy frames.
• Collaborate with Heads of Reward, Talent, and Ops.
• Develop manager capability through coaching and programmes.
• Own retention and attrition analytics for installer populations.
• Identify critical talent and plan succession across installs.
• Support resourcing and capacity planning in volatile demand.
