Form Energy in Berkeley, CA is seeking a strategic HR partner to work with our Product Engineering teams. Reporting to the Senior Manager of People Partnership, you will blend operational consulting with hands-on problem solving to shape people strategies for a fast-growing business unit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years supporting a product or engineering organization in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of change management.
• Business acumen and the ability to connect People strategy to business outcomes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior leaders.
• Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Solid knowledge of California and federal labor laws.
• A builder's mindset, with the ability to create new programs and processes from scratch and identify process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execution and Problem Solving: Identify issues, challenge assumptions, and proactively run problems to ground as they arise.
• Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner and coach to senior leadership, including our Engineering and other CA site leaders.
• Talent Programs: Drive existing talent strategies and programs, such as performance management, career pathing, and succession planning.
• Site and Culture: Function as a visible and trusted site HR presence for the California workforce, driving alignment amongst teams.
• Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and legal compliance.
• Data-Driven Insights: Use People data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and identify trends within the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Benefits & Support teams to design and deliver seamless People programs and services.
