Job summary

Nourish is seeking a People Ops Associate to support the full employee lifecycle across all 50 states. You will handle onboarding, leave administration, HRIS updates, and compliance tasks while partnering with the People team and cross-functional partners.

This full-time role is open to NYC-based or remote candidates, offering opportunities to grow into higher-level policy and program work as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a People Ops generalist, ideally in a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on onboarding and off-boarding, and leave administration.
• Working knowledge of employment laws across multiple states.
• Ability to own processes, stay organized, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for People Ops questions on leave, payroll, and policies.
• Run end-to-end onboarding and off-boarding, data entry and changes in systems.
• Administer FMLA, parental bonding, personal, and disability leaves with Sparrow vendor.
• Keep HRIS records accurate, generate reports, and support compliance across states.
• Own recurring workflows and continuously improve processes as the company scales.
