Honest Health is seeking a Manager, People Services to design and run compliant, scalable people operations and lead the employee relations function. You will ensure processes are auditable, data-accurate, and aligned with employment law across the employee lifecycle.

You will partner with People & Culture centers of excellence to translate strategy into high-quality execution, while managing inquiries and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in people operations, HR shared services, or HR administration.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, employee relations fundamentals, leave of absence processes, and lifecycle operations.
• Hands-on experience processing HR transactions and ensuring data accuracy within an HRIS environment.
• Experience processing HR transactions in Workday, such as hires, changes, transfers and terminations.
• Ability to manage recurring, detail-oriented processes while balancing ad hoc requests.
• Strong customer service mindset with experience responding to employee questions and resolving issues.
• Experience creating job aids, process documentation, and SOPs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Own and continuously improve people processes across the full employee lifecycle, with emphasis on pre-boarding and offboarding.
• Own the centralized People Services inbox; triage, respond, and resolve Tier 2 inquiries.
• Support annual processes such as open enrollment, performance cycles, and compliance training.
• Oversee contingent workforce operations, onboarding and offboarding for contractors and non-employees.
• Partner with Learning & Organizational Development to track and document required compliance training.
• Oversee HRIS data entry, maintenance, audits, and corrections for accuracy.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and Total Rewards to resolve data discrepancies and audit trails.
• Manage employment file processes with retention and audit readiness in mind.
• Ensure employment compliance in partnership with Legal & Compliance; stay current on laws.
• Maintain the employee handbook and policies; review annually for changes.
• Provide reporting and analytics on people operations and employee relations trends; propose actions.
• Own the employee relations function; ensure policy consistency, legal alignment, and timely resolution.
• Create and regularly update SOPs, job aids, and process guides.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and build scalability.
