Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Head of People for a large client account with a distributed workforce spanning manufacturing, engineering and technical services.

This senior leader will translate client priorities into a scalable People strategy, oversee operations, learning, analytics and partner functions, and serve as a strategic adviser to client executives. The role requires travel (~35%), executive communication, and deep experience in complex multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 10+ years in People/HR leadership in complex multi-site environment.
• Experience leading People disciplines through managers or senior individual contributors.
• Experience with manufacturing, engineering, technical services workforce with distributed locations.
• Executive-level consulting and influencing capability to translate issues into People strategies.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, change management.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with workforce data, dashboards and business cases.
• Ability to lead transformation and continuous improvement across processes, technology and operating models.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information with executives, clients, managers and employees.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end People strategy across the employee lifecycle.
• Direct multiple People functions and establish governance and accountability.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Communications to align workforce plans and messaging.
• Advise executives on organization health, risk, leadership and workforce decisions.
• Plan readiness and strategic workforce design for growth and transitions.
• Drive leadership development, succession planning and calibration.
• Use People analytics to drive business decisions and risk signals.
• Oversee onboarding, timekeeping, travel and related People processes with governance.
• Manage employee, labor and co-employment risk with Legal and HR centers of expertise.
• Convert client requests into viable, scalable People solutions and cross-functional mobilization.
• Provide governance and executive reporting for reviews and analyses.
• Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Build business cases for headcount, technology and learning investments.
• Develop the People organization and leadership pipeline.
