Corebridge Financial is expanding its US pension underwriting team. We seek a professional with actuarial or defined benefit pension plan experience to underwrite, model, and draft contract provisions while managing onboarding across internal functions.

The role blends technical pension expertise with project leadership, governance, and collaboration, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliant processes across the business units.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pension experience and ability to interpret complex pension provisions.
• Experience in pricing, valuation, actuarial modeling, pension administration, or contract terms.
• Strong project management, governance, and controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Explain actuarial topics to Head of US PRT in New Jersey.
• Be the defined benefit pension plan expert within the company.
• Assess pension risks, calculate premiums, and tailor contracts.
• Guide onboarding and lead cross-functional collaboration.
• Design governance, controls, processes, and procedures.
• Review actuarial calculations and methodologies.
• Maintain model risk management and testing.
• Support Operations and Valuation teams with new business implementation.
• Lead projects with sound judgment.
