Job summary

Corebridge Financial seeks a pension underwriting professional with actuarial and defined benefit expertise to underwrite and model pension risks, and assemble commitment agreements across technical areas.

You will act as a pension specialist supporting call center with benefit calculations, drafting provisions, and onboarding new business with internal teams. Growth, governance focus, and collaboration drive success.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pension plan experience required.
• Ability to interpret and implement complex pension plan provisions and draft documents.

Responsibilities

• Explain technical actuarial/pension topics to Head of US PRT
• Be the defined benefit pension plan expert within the company
• Assess pension risks, calculate premiums, and customize contract terms
• Guide onboarding and lead cross-functional collaboration
• Design or implement governance, controls, processes, and procedures
• Review actuarial calculations and methodologies in controlled environment
• Execute actuarial model risk management, including development and testing
• Support Operations and Valuation teams ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Lead projects with sound judgment and strategic thinking
