Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Pension (Risk Transfer) Actuary to join our Institutional Markets team. The role covers underwriting pension risks, actuarial calculations, and drafting defined benefit provisions, with project leadership across onboarding and governance.

Ideal candidates have defined benefit pension experience, pricing/valuation expertise, and strong communication skills. A quantitative bachelor’s degree and actuarial credentials are preferred, with remote/hybrid options

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pension plan experience and ability to interpret complex benefit provisions.
• Pricing, valuation, actuarial modeling, pension administration or contract experience.
• Strong project management and cross-functional onboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain technical actuarial topics to senior leadership and act as pension expert.
• Assess pension risks, calculate premiums, and tailor contract terms.
• Lead onboarding across internal functions and manage governance and controls.
• Review actuarial calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support Operations and Valuation teams during new business implementation.
