Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to investigate post-shipment claims, shortages, and field installation issues for pre-engineered metal buildings. You will analyze drawings, coordinate with internal teams, and communicate solutions to customers from intake to final resolution.

The role requires strong communication, PEMB knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 10% while supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical education or degree in construction, drafting, engineering technology, architecture, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive PEMB industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-shipment technical claims, shortages, back charges and field issues from intake to resolution.
• Lead investigations with builders and erectors using photos, measurements and documentation.
• Read and interpret architectural/structural drawings and shop details to determine facts.
• Develop corrective action plans and communicate technical direction to customers.
• Create and validate shortage/replacement orders with accurate part numbers and specs.
• Coordinate resolutions across Engineering, Drafting, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics.
