Job summary

Start Wellness in North Carolina seeks a Peer Support Specialist Program Supervisor to lead recovery‑oriented services for members. You will oversee CPSS staff, ensure care coordination, and promote integrated care in line with the member's person‑centered plan.

The role requires NC CPSS supervision training, CPSS certification, and at least two years of behavioral health or I/DD/TBI experience. Travel and driving may be required; strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Meet NC’s definition of a Qualified Professional per 10A-NCAC 27G.0104.
• Bachelor’s degree in health/psychology/sociology/social work/nursing or RN licensure.
• Two years of experience with behavioral health or I/DD/TBI populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care gaps and monitor member progress toward the person-centered plan.
• Complete CPSS Certification and uphold recovery-focused ethics.
• Provide supervision and training to program staff monthly.
• Coordinate care transitions and post-discharge follow-up within 24 hours.
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure medical record compliance.
• Collaborate with care teams and community resources within the region.
