Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed work. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions.

The role requires PCI QC Personnel Certification Level III with 6+ years' experience, plus capability to supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants. Travel and overtime are common.

Qualifications

• PCI QC Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years in precast QC.
• Experience supervising Level I and II inspectors.
• Familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specifications.
• Ability to prepare plants for PCI certification and host audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
