Job summary

Echodyne in Kirkland, WA seeks a Senior FPGA Development Engineer to design and deliver radar subsystem solutions using HDL for Echodyne’s compact, high-performance radars. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team on secure software-enabled designs and own FPGA components from conception through integration.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, optimize timing, and collaborate with radar, signal processing, and software teams to meet system control and signal processing

Qualifications

• Bachelors in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing Verilog/SystemVerilog and VHDL.
• Experience with hardware/PCB design and verification.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement FPGA-based solutions.
• Write timing-optimized VHDL/Verilog code.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Collaborate with radar, signal processing and software teams.
