Job summary

gpac is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to bridge concept to production. You will design electrical systems, develop PCB schematics, and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and testing.

You will work with mechanical and manufacturing teams to bring cutting-edge products from prototype to full-scale manufacturing, while applying strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, OrCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Strong understanding of DFM, PCB fabrication, and electronic testing methods.
• Ability to perform simulations, FMEA, and root-cause analysis.
• Good problem-solving and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control systems, wiring harnesses, and PCB layouts.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and production efficiency.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical designs and develop test fixtures.
• Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical components.
• Support legacy and new product lines, evaluate obsolescence, and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
