Job summary

Hamilton County is seeking a PC Specialist 2 to deliver advanced technical support for PCs, peripherals, and PC-based applications. You will address hardware and software challenges, optimize system performance, and contribute to county IT efficiency.

The role requires Tier 2 support for complex issues, plus potential vendor coordination and server administration tasks. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in computer science/electronics, 1 year of PC support or 4 years of related

Qualifications

Associate degree in computer science/electronics or equivalent.
1 year of progressive PC technical support experience or 4 years of related education/experience.
Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and MS Office.
CompTIA A+ and Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications must be obtained within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 technical support for PCs, peripherals, and PC-based applications.
Assist with installation, configuration, and usability of hardware and software.
Oversee server/system administration support and network device maintenance.
Coordinate with vendors for Tier 2 support and system administration.
