Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking a Senior PC/LAN Technician to provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and workstation issues across the organization. You will mentor junior staff and serve as a technical escalation point while collaborating with IT teams to meet service objectives.

Responsibilities include supporting daily operations, deployments, imaging, and lifecycle management of devices, with a focus on end-user computing reliability.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in computer repair, desktop technical support, or technical support analyst roles.
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• ACJIS Certification and CompTIA A+ certification are preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex hardware, software, OS, and network issues across end-user devices.
• Serve as escalation point for Help Desk/PC-LAN staff and mentor junior staff.
• Support deployments, imaging, upgrades, configurations, and full device lifecycle activities.
