Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File.

The Senior Payroll Tax Processor is a core production contributor on the team operating with strong technical competence and meaningful independence across a high-volume case workload. You will handle state and federal notices, prepare amended returns, and mentor colleagues while expanding technical depth in a fast-paced, remote role with flexible

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience across multiple states and notices.
• Strong knowledge of IRS/state notices, amendments, and payroll corrections.
• FPC required; CPP preferred for 4+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax casework for assigned accounts and ensure timely resolutions.
• Independently research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation and meet deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, state equivalents) for complex cases.
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue, prioritize SLA dates, and maintain case records.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP and KB updates with clear solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams; mentor colleagues.
