Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File issues with precision in a fast-paced environment. You will conduct full-cycle payroll tax case work, research state and federal notices, prepare amended returns, and mentor teammates while expanding your own technical depth.

This remote role offers flexible hours with a minimum 20 hours per week and overtime eligibility as an hourly, non-exempt position.

Formación

• 2–3+ years hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices, amended returns, and payroll error correction across multiple states.

Responsabilidades

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, including processing payroll runs, audit output, filings, and payments across jurisdictions.
• Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, ownership from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation and meet deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) for complex amendments.
• Support payroll correction workflows and document the audit trail.
• Manage personal WIP and close cases by SLA.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP/KB updates and cross-functional collaboration.
