Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices and amendments across multiple states with independence and attention to detail. You will handle complex notices, prepare amended returns, and ensure timely, compliant filings while mentoring peers.

The role emphasizes high-volume case work, cross-functional collaboration, and continual technical growth within Payroll Tax Operations.

Qualifications

2–3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices, amendments, and error corrections across multiple states.
Experience reading IRS/state notices and determining resolution paths.
Experience preparing amended Federal (941-X, W-2c) and State returns.

Responsabilités

Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, including tax filings and payments.
Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices from intake to closure.
Prepare agency responses with documentation within deadlines and confirm receipt.
Prepare amended payroll tax returns independently on complex amendments.
Support payroll correction workflows and document the correction audit trail.
Manage personal WIP queue with SLA-driven prioritization and thorough documentation.
Perform high-level trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
Contribute to SOP and knowledge base updates and cross-functional collaboration.
