Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Duluth, GA is seeking a Sr Payroll Tax Specialist to bridge a growing payroll tax function with new division partners. You will ensure timely processing of liability payments, returns, notices, and major tax compliance tasks.

The ideal candidate has multi-state payroll tax expertise, hands-on tax return processing, and the ability to lead projects, analyze complex data, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years multi-state payroll tax experience.
• Minimum of one year in a Senior, Lead or Supervisor role.
• PEO or related industry experience preferred.
• Hands-on tax return processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state, federal, state and local wage laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve payroll tax department efficiency.
• Track status, manage project plans and health.
• Ensure deadlines are met and processes are optimized.
• Identify growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
