Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to join the team and bridge new division partners with internal tax departments. You will gather and analyze information from division staff and payroll systems to facilitate integration.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely liability payments, tax returns, and notices, and completing projects such as registration for bulk filing and ACH credits, while improving processes and maintaining project health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years multi-state payroll tax experience.
• Minimum of one year of Senior/Lead/ Supervisor experience.
• Hands-on tax return processing; CPP/FPC preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, federal, state and local wage laws.
• MasterTax and Prism/HRP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve the efficiency of the tax department processes.
• Track status updates and monitor project health.
• Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
• Optimize processes and the overall approach as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
