Intuit seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Expert and SME to lead end-to-end resolution of payroll tax issues across Notices, Corrections, and Amendments. The Staff Payroll Tax Processor will own the most complex cases while coaching junior staff and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payroll tax with focus on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Expert knowledge of State/Federal payroll tax notices; ability to draft penalty abatements and agency responses.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex payroll tax notices across multi-quarter and multi-state scenarios.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods; drive correction workflow to resolution.
• Maintain high productivity resolving Corrections, Amendments, and Notice requests with accuracy.
• Coach Senior Processors, conduct quarterly SBIC-based coaching sessions.
