Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of payroll tax experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with payroll tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and notices.
• Experience supporting payroll operations in an acquisition-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll tax compliance, tax reporting, audits, reconciliations, and year-end processing in a complex multi-state environment.
• Monitor tax law changes and coordinate system updates to maintain compliance.
• Review and reconcile payroll tax accounts, filings, and ADP reports.
• Ensure timely deposits, filings, and reporting activities.
• Respond to tax notices and inquiries from federal, state, and local agencies.
• Support audits by providing documentation and resolving issues.
• Perform payroll tax audits for data accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize ADP SmartCompliance to manage notices, change requests, and filings.
