Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Sr. Business System Analyst specialized in Payroll to act as a senior SME for the PeopleSoft Payroll application.

The role focuses on analyzing business needs, defining detailed requirements, and guiding technical design for customizations and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include system maintenance, upgrades, end-user support, testing, training, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, CIS or related field required.
• 5 years experience as a functional Business System Analyst including system implementation planning and testing.
• 5 years experience with PeopleSoft Payroll or similar payroll application.
• 7 years experience in a financial-systems related field.
• 2 years experience with integration of payroll with other HCM applications preferred.
• 2 years experience in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior SME for PeopleSoft Payroll content, functionality, processes and procedures.
• Analyze business needs, determine system solutions and define detailed requirements.
• Collaborate with technical staff to design customizations and troubleshoot system issues.
• Maintain the system and participate in upgrades of PeopleSoft Payroll.
• Coordinate user support, system testing, troubleshooting and end-user training.
• Develop and maintain application and end-user system documentation.
