Job summary

FloQast is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to own payroll for our US and Canada employees. You will be the in-house expert on UKG Pro (UltiPro) and run bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, while driving improvements to payroll processes, controls, and documentation to reduce manual work and workarounds.

This hands-on role collaborates with HR, Benefits, Accounting, and international payroll providers, ensuring accurate, on-time payments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, including UKG Pro (UltiPro).
• Experience processing multi-state US payroll and Canada payroll.
• Experience coordinating international payroll with outside providers.
• Experience in a growing company with 700+ employees across multiple countries.
• Strong documentation and process-improvement skills.
• Solid understanding of payroll tax, compliance, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state US and Canada payroll accurately and on time.
• Serve as in-house expert for UKG Pro payroll and Dimensions.
• Review and simplify UKG setup to reduce manual workarounds.
• Write and maintain clear payroll procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate with international payroll providers (UK, Australia, Germany, India).
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger with Accounting each cycle.
• Maintain payroll controls including approvals and access.
• Record and process employee changes (leaves, salary, reporting).
• Ensure new hire/termination data flows from HRIS to payroll.
• Collaborate with Benefits and HR Business Partners on deductions and open enrollment.
