Job summary

FloQast is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to own payroll for US and Canada employees and to be the in-house expert on UKG Pro (UltiPro). You will run bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, coordinate with international providers, and drive improvements to scale payroll processes.

This hands-on role requires independence, strong documentation, and collaboration with HR, Benefits, and Accounting. The position is in a hybrid environment with three in-office days per week and ongoing process

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years hands-on payroll experience, including at least 3 years with UKG Pro (UltiPro).
• Experience with multi-state US payroll and Canadian payroll.
• Experience supporting or coordinating international payrolls with outside providers.
• Experience in a growing company with 700+ employees across multiple countries.
• Strong documentation and process-improvement abilities.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office/G-Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state US and Canada payroll accurately and on time (bi-weekly, off-cycle, manual checks).
• Serve as in-house expert for UKG Pro payroll and Dimensions configuration and troubleshooting.
• Rewrite and simplify UKG setup to replace manual workarounds with controlled processes.
• Maintain payroll procedures and documentation so payroll can be run by others.
• Coordinate with international payroll providers (UK, Australia, Germany, India) and reconcile results.
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger and support audits and compliance requests.
• Maintain payroll controls, approvals, access, and separation of duties.
• Handle employee data changes (leaves, salary, reporting).
• Ensure new hire/termination data flows from HRIS to payroll.
• Manage state tax registrations and ongoing filings.
