Job summary

FloQast seeks a Senior Payroll Analyst to own payroll for US and Canada, expert in UKG Pro (UltiPro), and to coordinate with international providers. You will manage bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, improve UKG configurations, and document processes for scalable workflows.

This hybrid role requires 5–7+ years of payroll experience and strong controls, with 3+ years in UKG Pro. You will collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Accounting, ensure tax registrations are current, and train teammates as

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of hands-on payroll experience, incl. UKG Pro (UltiPro).
• Experience in US multi-state and Canada payroll.
• Experience coordinating international payroll with providers.
• Experience in a growing company with 700+ employees across countries.
• Ability to work independently and document payroll processes clearly.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax, compliance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state US and Canada payroll, including bi-weekly and off-cycle payments.
• Serve as in-house expert for UKG Pro payroll and Workforce Dimensions.
• Review and simplify UKG setup; replace manual workarounds with robust processes.
• Write and maintain payroll procedures so others can run payroll.
• Coordinate with international payroll providers (UK, Australia, Germany, India).
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger with Accounting; support audits.
• Maintain payroll controls: approvals, access, separation of duties.
• Record and process employee changes; manage hire/termination data flows.
• Manage state tax registrations and ongoing filings; keep tax profiles accurate.
• Collaborate with Benefits/HRBP on deductions and open enrollment.
• Train and back up teammates; support growth of payroll function.
