Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Workday; Workday preferred.
• Ability to analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large datasets.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and off-cycle payrolls from start to finish.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate payroll changes with HR, Finance, and Benefits.
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries and support audits.
• Prepare and distribute year-end tax documents, including W-2s, and maintain payroll records.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
