Midway Mechanical Services is seeking a Regional Payroll Specialist to manage accurate, timely payroll across multiple operating companies and states from our Draper, UT office.

You’ll partner with HR, accounting, and local leadership to resolve issues, ensure tax, deduction, and benefit accuracy, and maintain confidential payroll records using Paylocity or similar platforms. This on-site role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on certified payroll experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity, ADP, UKG, Paychex, Paycor, or similar payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for multiple operating companies and states.
• Review payroll data for hours, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Ensure proper payroll deductions and tax filings; reconcile to GL and bank activity.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and respond to payroll inquiries.
