Jobot is seeking a dynamic Payroll Specialist to join our Plano team, delivering accurate, on-time multi-state payroll processing for diverse client portfolios. The role emphasizes compliance, data integrity, and responsive employee support.

You’ll manage weekly to monthly payroll cycles, collaborate with HR and finance, and uphold our standards for accuracy and customer service in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably consulting or professional services.
• Auditing and compliance experience in payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred.
• CPP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process multiple client payrolls on various cycles (weekly to monthly).
• Ensure payroll transactions are accurate and compliant.
• Maintain payroll records and report changes.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to ensure correct employee data.
• Prepare reports for upper management and auditors.
