Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of payroll regulations and standards.
• Three years' payroll accounting experience required.
• Experience with regulatory standards and government payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prioritizes, coordinates, and delegates daily unit tasks to ensure completion on time.
• Performs regular processing of payroll activities; audits, inputs, and maintains data.
• Prepares, processes, and audits deductions, corrections, and manual checks per policy and laws.
• Utilizes automated systems for payroll actions including taxes and direct deposits.
• Processes payroll system calculations for pre-auditing and validates payroll registers.
• Reconciles payroll runs and assists management with training and issue resolution.
• Researches and resolves payroll accounting discrepancies and reports with minimal supervision.
