Job summary

PrideStaff Financial in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payrolls (biweekly/weekly) on a temp-to-hire basis. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and handle deductions including garnishments and child support.

3+ years payroll experience, AA preferred, strong Excel, ADP experience, and solid communication with keen attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• AA degree preferred; HS diploma a must.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Payroll systems; ADP highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state biweekly and weekly payroll processing.
• Journal entries and quarterly reconciliation of 940 and 941s.
• Taxes, garnishments, child support and other deductions.
• Calculate and process commissions and bonuses.
• Prepare payroll audits.
