Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Hands-on Workday experience required.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Payroll tax experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic timekeeping systems.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time across multiple locations.
• Manage payroll schedules and ensure all processing deadlines are met.
• Review timekeeping data, PTO, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Research and resolve employee pay, direct deposit, tax, and payroll discrepancies.
• Calculate retroactive pay and make necessary payroll corrections.
• Reconcile payroll data and assist with General Ledger discrepancies.
• Support payroll tax processing, quarterly/year-end filings, and employee tax forms.
• Assist with payroll, 401(k), workers’ compensation, and other audits.
• Generate payroll reports and review data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide payroll support and guidance to employees, managers, and other system users.
