Job summary

Fiducia in Springfield is seeking a Senior payroll processor to join our payroll team. You will collect employees' time sheets, verify payroll data, and ensure accurate processing of paychecks using Paychex.

You will collaborate with clients to resolve payroll questions, calculate taxes, deductions, bonuses, and other payable hours, and investigate discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality of employee records.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or another business-related field preferred.
• 3+ years' experience processing payroll.
• Experience with Paychex payroll software is a plus.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data.
• Update payroll records with changes to employee information or benefits.
• Prepare reports on earnings, deductions, leave and wages.
• Calculate payroll liabilities including taxes and employer contributions.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries.
• Process and issue paychecks and W-2 forms.
