Sharp is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing across weekly and bi-weekly cycles. You will maintain payroll records, verify data integrity between HRIS and timekeeping systems, and generate essential reports.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to compile payroll data and maintain records.
• Experience with weekly and bi-weekly payrolls and payroll reporting.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compile payroll data for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls incl. garnishments and benefits.
• Ensure data integrity between HRIS and payroll systems.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports (401k, FSA, HSA, etc.).
• Respond to outside agencies and vendor inquiries.
• Support compliance with statutory payroll requirements and resolve tax discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Act as backup to Payroll Manager.
