Job summary

SDL Search Partners is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our in-office team in New Hampshire. The role covers multi-client payroll across states with bi-weekly, weekly, and monthly schedules.

Qualifications

  • 2–10 years payroll experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with systems optimization and process improvement.
  • Experience mentoring payroll staff.
  • Experience with ADP is a plus.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll and payroll tax reporting is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll for multiple clients across states and various pay frequencies (bi-weekly, weekly, monthly).
  • Mentor and support payroll staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Well-established and growing company is looking for a strong Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team!

The team handles payroll for multiple clients, multi-state, bi-weekly, weekly and monthly schedules. The ideal candidate loves a fast-paced environment, has high attention to detail, enjoys digging in and understanding the ins & outs of a new client, and has an understanding of payroll compliance.

This role is an in-office position, with a good deal of flexibility around hours worked & a highly favorable work/life balance. Requirements
  • 2 - 10 years payroll experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent systems & process improvement experience
  • experience managing and mentoring at least one payroll staff
  • Experience with ADP a plus
  • Multi-state payroll & payroll tax reporting experience a plus
  • strong technical skills
