Job description

LHH is supporting a wonderful client in the non‑profit space who is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team on a 3+ contract basis. This position will require some in‑office work in Manhattan, New York.

Responsibilities:

• Process bi‑weekly payroll, for both hourly and salaried employees
• Run audits to resolve payroll discrepancies
• Respond to management and employee questions/requests in a timely manner
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Manage funding report for treasury team
• Perform account reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of payroll experience
• ADP WFN experience is highly preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Compensation: $35 - $40/hr, depending on experience.
