Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations in US and Canada.
• Process equity (stock plan and ESPP), commissions, and incentives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Systems Management: Oversee payroll software systems and configurations.
• Data Analysis: Analyze payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies; generate reports.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and reporting (US and Canada).
• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues and assist employees with inquiries.
• Audits: Prepare and assist with internal and external payroll audits; maintain records.
• Collaboration: Coordinate payroll activities with HR, finance, and other departments.
• Training and Support: Provide training on payroll processes and systems.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in system upgrades, process automation, mergers/acquisitions.
