Job summary

AGI is seeking a Payroll Lead, US to manage payroll execution for 800+ employees across multiple states from Lenexa, KS. You will serve as the US payroll SME, ensuring data integrity and driving process improvements in collaboration with HR, Finance, Benefits, and HRIS.

Responsibilities include payroll processing for US pay groups, audits and reconciliations, quarterly and year-end filings, and strict compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ multi-state payroll experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with UKG or similar SaaS HRIS is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and taxes.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple US pay groups and provide back-up for other groups.
• Serve as US Payroll subject matter expert and escalation point.
• Payroll validation, auditing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end filings and support audits.
• Identify and implement ongoing payroll process improvements.
