Job summary

International Line Builders is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll for field and office staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and union requirements. This role partners with project management, Human Resources, and Finance while maintaining strong internal controls and safeguarding confidential information.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll leadership in multi-state environments, strong Excel and payroll-system skills, and a track record of process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible payroll experience, including at least three years in a supervisory/leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage full, multi-state payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees.
• Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour, tax, and union requirements across states.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; coordinate with HR, Finance, and operations.
