Wilkerson Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll functions across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate pay, tax compliance, and system administration, handling hourly, overtime, union, and per diem pay.

This role serves as the payroll compliance lead for the organization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong knowledge of union rules and multi-state wage laws, and proficiency with major payroll platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Business Administration.
• Five+ years of full-cycle payroll administration experience including two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, including supervising staff.
• Review field timesheets for accuracy against job tickets and records, including overtime and per diem.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll process and ensure timely, accurate payments and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with union wages, fringe benefits, and certified (prevailing wage) payroll.
• Prepare and file monthly union reports and wage-related documentation.
• Maintain payroll data confidentiality and multi-state withholding accuracy.
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger and prepare month-end entries.
