Job summary

Calqulate seeks a Payroll Manager to lead payroll for 750+ hourly and salaried employees across multiple sites and jurisdictions. You will supervise a payroll specialist, manage processes, controls, and ADP systems while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

Beyond daily operations, you will partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and support audits and year-end activities. CPP preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience including multi-state operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and HRIS/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end multi-site payroll for 750+ employees across states.
• Verify wages, OT, bonuses, route pay, and deductions.
• Approve payroll batches in ADP and ensure GL accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and process off-cycle payments and final paychecks.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliance.
• Lead year-end payroll close and W-2 filings.
