An established industry player is seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to oversee global payroll services for over 65,000 employees. This pivotal role involves managing outsourced payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, and leading major projects such as mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT, along with extensive experience in payroll operations and proficiency in Workday HCM. Under the general direction of the Payroll Director, manages outsourced payroll operations to ensure optimal performance in the delivery and administration of global payroll services. Supports activities related to outsourced payroll, payroll accounting, disbursements, garnishments, and payroll tax for over 65,000 U.S. employees across 50 payroll entities. Assists in developing Workday Payroll configurations aligned with Cigna's pay schedules, policies, and procedures. Maintains controls and operational excellence, including internal/external control audits, SOX compliance, testing, and overall tax and regulatory compliance.
If working remotely, internet must be via a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
