Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Manager (Multi-State) in Fort Worth, TX, on-site, to own end-to-end payroll for a multi-site organization. You will lead a small team, ensure accuracy and compliance across states, and partner with Accounting, HR, Finance, and Operations to optimize payroll processes.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, CPP preferred, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Excel for complex payroll analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state operations.
• Advanced proficiency with enterprise payroll and timekeeping systems.
• ADP Workforce Now experience with payroll processing and reporting.
• Experience with multi-state payroll taxation and wage and hour requirements.
• Experience managing commissions, bonuses, and other incentive pay.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing across multi-state locations.
• Manage state and local tax registrations, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Lead and develop payroll team with clear performance expectations.
• Oversee ADP Workforce Now configurations, testing, upgrades, and reporting.
• Support acquisitions and new locations through payroll readiness.
