Job summary

Acara Solutions, a premier payroll services provider, seeks a Payroll Specialist III in Texas to manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple states and entities. You will lead payroll processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with HR, Finance, and vendors to uphold financial integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in multi-state payroll and expertise with ADP Workforce Now and Workday. This is a direct hire with benefits and a 40-hour schedule in Leander, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• 5+ years of experience in payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Own payroll execution and internal controls for multi-state environments.
• Process biweekly, multi-cycle, and off-cycle payrolls across states/entities.
• Review payroll inputs: earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, adjustments.
• Lead year-end payroll tasks: W-2 prep, reconciliation, reporting.
• Maintain payroll calendar and governance framework.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and wage laws.
